Cette sculpture se présente sous la forme d’un ensemble de 65 tiges en bois taillées en pointes disposées verticalement suivant une grille de 50 x 150 cm. L’ensemble est monté sur 6 pieds.

J’ai pensé cette forme suite à un voyage itinérant en Finlande.

C’est une sculpture architecturée, rythmée qui joue avec le plein, le vide et le mouvement.

Elle raconte un rapport singulier au paysage, à sa traversée, à l’autre aussi qui nous accompagne ou qui se tient à côté. Elle raconte une certaine proximité.

C’est un objet affectif qui peut supporter, lier, tendre, séparer, déchirer.

Je l’ai présenté au départ supportant une fine couche de pâte qu’elle est venue soutenir, affecter et transpercer en certains points. En séchant la pâte à son tour a affecté les tiges de bois en les comprimant. C’est une sculpture d’ « affects ».

Je m’en suis servie ensuite comme d’une matrice, d’un outil pour générer d’autres formes comme ce paysage en pvc thermoformé, une forme possible du litige.

This sculpture is made with 65 wooden peaks arranged vertically according to a grid of 50 x 150 cm. This grid is mounted on six feet.

I imagined this form after an itinerant travel in Finland.

This is an architectural and rhythmic sculpture which plays with the full, the empty and the movement.

It shows a special relationship to the landscape, its crossing, the other people who travel with us or who stand nearby. It tells about a certain closeness.

This is an emotional object, an intimate tool that can sustain, link, stretch, part, rip.

Initially I presented it with a thin layer of dough. The sculpture supports this dough, affects it and pierces it at certain points. Drying the paste affected the wooden sticks by compressing them. This is a sculpture of ‘affects’.

Then, I used it as a matrix, a tool to generate other forms like this landscape in heat-formed pvc, a possible form of the “litige”.
